Louise & Ed were married on a summers day at Coltsford Mill in Surrey, a stunning but quirky venue which suited them perfectly. we photographed the day from the bridal preparations through to the first dance and enjoyed every minute of it…even in the pouring rain.
Louise and her bridesmaids made their preparations in a pretty little cottage at the venue, which made things very convenient to photograph. The venue has 2 rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, Louise & Ed chose the Mill Room. A unique room with the original mill workings displayed behind glass, it certainly makes for some very different wedding photographs. They had their drinks reception on the terrace, unfortunately the heavens opened, but this did not put a dampener on the day!
They had a sumptuous 3 course meal in the Watermill Barn, a stunning oak beamed barn that is also licensed for civil ceremonies. This was followed by some very emotional speeches (especially from the brides father) Fortunately the rain stopped and we were able to take the newlyweds out into the gardens for some couples portraits.
We enjoyed photographing this wedding and took some gorgeous wedding photographs at this unique wedding venue.
