Rebecca & Ben

Salmestone Grange Weddings

Rebecca and Ben were married on the 23rd December at Salmestone grange in Margate Kent. We were there to photograph the day from the bridal preparations through to the first dance. Rebecca and her mum and sister made their preparations for the day in the little guest cottage in the grounds, everyone was relaxed sipping champagne and enjoying the morning.

At 4pm they were married in the little chapel at the venue, built in 1326 the chapel has a old world charm about it. Being at 4pm on a late december day it was very dark by the time of the ceremony started, and being lit by candles it proved to be a romantic ceremony. After the ceremony everyone went through to the upstairs function room for group photographs. Everyone then went through to the reception and enjoyed a sumptuous medieval banquet.

After the meal and speeches we took Rebecca and Ben outside for some portraits, being very dark it was a little different to what we are used to but the atmosphere provided spectacular results. We had an amazing day and love photographing christmas weddings and this gorgeous venue is just the icing on the christmas cake.
