Nettlestead Place, Maidstone, Kent

“I couldnt decide on a colour scheme, so decided on lots of colours” This is what Clare said to me at our initial meeting, when I asked them about their wedding.
Clare and John were married at Nettlestead Place in Wateringbury near Maidstone in Kent. The weather in the days leading up to the wedding had been diabolical, freezing cold with lots of snow. The day arrived and it was glorious sunshine!
Clare made her preparations in the stunning bridal room at the venue, she married John in the undercroft.

After the wedding everyone went outside and enjoyed some Pimms and canapes in the sun. We then took them both aside for a little while and took some gorgeous wedding photos of them.They then went to the marquee for their reception, they had a gorgeous hog roast, provided by Relish Catering.

The marquee looked gorgeous with their theme being a vintage Shabby Chic, lots of bunting and rustic apple crates to finish off the look. They had their first dance to the sound of a fantastic band, the Rockpins.
