Engagement Photography in Kent

Engagement Photography is a great way to get to know your photographers and also get some beautiful photographs of the two of you together. We first met Kelly and Ben last year, they came with Kelly’s lovely mum to meet with us and chat about their wedding day. As they had booked us for a full day wedding photography package, an engagement shoot was included.
We met up with Kelly and Ben on a freezing cold Sunday morning in February at Mote Park in Maidstone. We met up and took a stroll around the beautiful lake in the park, although it was in Winter this still made for some beautiful photographs.
The lake has lots of great vantage points for engagement and couples portraits, we first stopped by a tree (and some nosey swans!) We chatted about how we work and eased them into the shoot, they soon felt at ease and we captured some lovely moments between the two of them. We continued our walk around, all the while chatting about their wedding plans which were super exciting to hear. Upon finding an old building by the side of the lake, we decided to use this for a rustic backdrop. The brickwork provided a wonderful alternative for photographs and completely changed the scene. A short walk from the Brickwork building provided once again with some stunning views over the lake, an opportunity not to be missed for some more wonderful photographs. Kelly and Ben really relaxed into this shoot and enjoyed the time together, we also enjoyed the time with them.
An engagement shoot is a great way to get to know us before your wedding. You will both understand how we work and we get to know you both a little better, what makes you smile and laugh. By the time the wedding day arrives your wedding photography will be one less worry, as you know what to expect.
