Wedding Photographers at Old Brook Barn
We first me Kate at a coffee shop in Bluewater to discuss her wedding day, upon hearing all her ideas and excitement we absolutely could not wait to be her wedding photographers. Kate married Clint on a rather unsettled day in June. Kate and her bridesmaids made their preparations at her parents home in Ongar in Essex, everyone looked amazing with their hair and make up being perfect. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their pale green bridesmaids dresses from Davids Bridal, while Kate looked amazing in her beautiful dress from Amorae Bridal.
Just as Kate arrived to the church, the heavens opened and it did not stop all day!. Luckily the ushers were well prepared with brollies and walked her from the car into the church. She was escorted down the aisle by her proud dad. They said their vows and exchanged rings in a very emotional service (I spied quite a few tissues dabbing eyes among the guests!) They both then danced up the aisle as husband and wife, upon their exit all their guests had their confetti at the ready and showered them with it!.
Their reception was held at Old Brook Barn in Romford in Essex, an amazing venue with fantastic grounds for wedding photographs. Unfortunately it was pouring down with rain so some areas were not accessible for photographs! but luckily we did get some gorgeous bride and groom photographs in between downpours. Their speeches were emotional and amusing, perfect for some great photographs. As wedding photographers we love to take photos of peoples reactions to the speeches, as it shows everyone as they were on the day.
After the speeches there was plenty of time for lots of photographs of everyone, the bridesmaids and flower girl set up some fun shots for a surprise for Kate while the guys took the centre stage! They then cut their stunning cake made Laura’s cakes London (the most scrummiest cake I have tried in a LONG time!) They then had their first dance and partied the night away to the sounds of Groove Environment. At the end of the night there was a break in the rain and so we took them back outside for on last photo, with all the pretty lights and the use of a flash we took the most stunning wedding photograph of them and the barn.
